Wine Tasting and Winery Tour at Lerida Estate

A flying visit to Lerida Estate is a unique experience. Your flight will take you over Lake George, the largest and most spectacular inland lake in Australia, to the Lerida vineyards. The winery, cellar door and café are located at the foot of the Lake George Range and give great views across the vineyard.

Specialising in Pinot Noir, Shiraz Viognier (for which the wine district is internationally famous), Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Merlot, Lerida Estate has established a reputation as the maker of some of the finest wines in New South Wales.

Reflecting their commitment to excellence in all they undertake, the owners of Lerida Estate commissioned Glenn Murcutt to design the winery. Glenn is one of Australia’s most famous architects and a winner of the Pritzker prize for architecture.

We are available to visit Lerida’s cellar door daily from 10-5 and the Café Lerida is open for our helicopter arrivals on Saturdays and most Public Holidays from 10-5. The café offers a seasonal menu of regional produce, a range of delicious cakes, freshly made scones and seriously good espresso coffee.

If time permits, stop for a game of Petanque or do a winery tour with the owner or wine maker, followed by a wine tasting before taking off for your flight back to Canberra. There is not a finer boutique winery experience in Australia!

Return flying time is 30 minutes with stopover time at the discretion of our clients.
