Sensational New Day with Breakfast at Ginninderry

See the new day come alive during this stunning dawn or morning flight over Canberra. With landscape touched by the golden colours of the early morning sunrise, share exhilarating moments as you climb quickly into the sky.

See the city waking, as you track over Lake Burley Griffin past Black Mountain Tower and Belconnen, to the beautiful Ginninderry Homestead where we land for a delicious ‘Aussie Breakfast’. The homestead raises Belted Galloway cattle, a very attractive breed, and these may be seen grazing below as we make our landing approach.

Surrounded by beautiful gardens the homestead is 'picture perfect' and the traditional exterior is tastefully matched inside with sandstone floors, open fires, and period decorations. The cooked breakfast is a feast with all the traditional fare one would expect of such a location right down to fresh eggs from the henyard.

After a take-off over the nearby Ginninderra Falls, we continue on track along the Murrumbidgee River to the Cotter Dam before turning for Mt Stromlo, where we see the powerful new satellite ranging system. Crossing Woden Valley we pass by Parliament House to the embassy area of Red Hill before turning over Mt Mugga for our return to the airport. After viewing the sights return with a smile on your face that even the most demanding day will not remove.

Return flight time is 30 minutes with stopover time at the discretion of our clients to a maximum 45 minutes.
