The Boat House is set on the absolute water-lapping edge of the Lake and your arrival by helicopter will be sensational!

It will be "headsets on" as your helicopter takes off from Canberra International Airport for a spectacular flight over the city and lake before tracking along the Murrumbidgee River in the foothills of the Brindabella’s and turning at Mt Stromlo Observatory to head back to your lakeside landing.

This flight gives you the best views of Canberra you’re ever likely to see with the choice of lunch or dinner arrivals.By daylight, see the city's bustling activity as it goes about its business as the nation's capital. By evening , sit back and let Canberra’s night lights show the city’s architecture at its very best and all against the backdrop of the evening sky. Either way at the end of your flight, you will descend over the lake to land in style on the shore next to the entrance of the famous Boathouse Restaurant, where your prebooked table and meal will await you. Please note this flight may be taken any time of year as a lunch flight Mon - Fri 12.00-2.00. Dinner flights are available Mon to Sat evenings from 1 September to 1 May but are not available on winter evenings due to early sunset times. This experience is a one-way scenic flight to the restaurant. You will need to make your own way home after dining.
