Aquila Helicopters P/L of Canberra is locally owned and operated by Christine Farrell who is also the company’s CASA approved Chief Pilot. Christine has flown helicopters for 21 years and aircraft for over 30 years and has a 100% safety record. Christine’s experience has included multiple trips delivering new aircraft from Rome to London for an Italian aircraft manufacturer and flying in the UK as well as Europe and Australia. Christine Farrell and Paul Moran, have won the Boeing Helicopter prize for best precision flying by a civilian crew at Heli-meet International , International Air Show, held at Middle Wallop, UK, home of the British Army Air Corp.
As well as being a qualified and experienced pilot Christine is a university graduate in climatology, geomorphology and psychology. On your flight you will receive the type of commentary from your pilot that only a local, caring and knowledgeable operator can offer.
Other Aquila pilots: According to workloads from time to time Aquila employs part-time pilots. We will only employ pilots who have at least 1,000 hours experience and impeccable safety records.
