Prices and conditions

Our helicopter hire charge is based on an hourly operating charge, or proportion thereof.

Normally our price covers the hire of the helicopter for an agreed time period, in the same way as taxi fares are charged.  Up to three adults plus pilot may travel on a flight, subject to weight restrictions. An adult must accompany children under 12 years. For legal and safety reasons passengers and baggage weights must be advised at the time of booking. We are unable to accept passengers weighing more than 130 kgs

The Aquila R44 is currently charged out at an all inclusive price of $880 per hour ($800 per hour plus GST at 10%).

Prices inclusive of GST for flights of varying duration are as follows:

Please note that on scenic tour flights where our clients wish to stay for over an hour to have a meal or snack we charge $100 per hour waiting time (inc GST). If you are taking a scenic tour flight involving a meal we are happy to advise you of the meal options and the associated per person charge.

We ask passengers to meet with us 10 minutes before departure time for a safety briefing and loading of he helicopter. Sights, flight paths and flight times may vary due to weather, air traffic control or pilot discretion.
